Yikes
Lots of tropes. The author all the romance language from different genres. It was like they were hitting a list of phrases to use. The spicy scenes did not fit the characters and what we know about their sexual history.

It was absolutely everything I wasn't expecting it to be. Quick read, no surprises, all the cliches.

This was such a cute, quick fun read. I loved every second of it!
This one had so many good tropes, best friends x lovers, penpals, mutual pining it was filled with such goodness and all these were done excellently.
I also adore the plus size rep for both the FMC and MMC, we still don’t see this rep enough and it’s so nice to read a story where we get it so positively and confidently! I also loved the fact that the Liam was a lot shyer in this pair up then Mabel.
The hard thing about novella’s sometimes is getting the characters to have enough chemistry and forming a connection with them but this wasn’t an issue for this book, it was so easy to fall in love with these characters and believe their romance so well! I just couldn’t get enough of these characters, I adored them both so much.
Also Liam has the most dirty mouth! The smut was just excellent for this book and had the perfect balance all round.
Marzy did an excellent job and I highly recommend you give this one a go!

Omg I loved this novella! I love how soft these two were for each other from the first chapter and I love how absolutely obsessed they both were for each other.

This book was not worth the time it took me to read it. Meet cute via high school pen pals, never meeting. He knows she has a strong social media presence so he's looked her up, meets her in person and knows exactly who he's talking to the whole time, never tells her. So much unnecessary miscommunication throughout this one.

This was a miss for me. To whoever recommended this book to me ... just, no.
What the heckity heck what this? I know COVID and lockdowns have affected us all, but I am not convinced the author has spoken to a human being since 2019. The dialogue in this novel was so cringy, and the characters had no growth at all! Granted, 140 pages, but still. All I kept thinking was we are being told everything, no showing. We didn't see the chemistry, we didn't see the growth, we didn't see their connection. Just told they are attracted to each other, they like each other, they are changing.
I had high hopes for this one, and the cover is so adorable, I really wanted to love it. But alas...
