This was super cute and comfy, the spice was superb, and I loved the plus-size representation in both MMC and FMC. What I didn't love was some of the dialogue and the overall high-school feel of their relationship; this felt very much like young puppy love. There is nothing wrong with that but I would have appreciated a more mature and deep connection and story.

Marzy wrote this novella so I obviously loved it. Friends to lovers romances never fail to make me smile and this one was no exception!! It was an amazing mix of sweet, wholesome and steamyyy. I loved seeing Mabel hype her man and help him with his body image issues and self confidence.

I would say that I wished we saw more of their relationship as friends like a chapter of only texts would have been amazing!! But it is a novella so it is understanding that we cut right to the chase.

Holy fucking shit this book was a quick good read I fûcking loved it the reverse roles of bel helping Liam be more confident he’s an absolute sweetheart. I loved the fact that Liam has a praise kink I feel like that’s not really seen in smutty books. I love how the toll of the bullying Liam had went through was represented as a person who was bullied I felt that on a personal level. Liam’s nicknames for her made me swoon. Also I thought he was a cute giant innocent man but goddamn as soon as he enters the bedroom he’s a WHOLE different person. I love that the sex scene wasn’t just about the sex it was about the intimacy the feeling of comfort and confidence while doing the act ugh I fûcking loved it. He gave me archer hale vibes when he said tell me how to please you omg

This single star is only because I love the plus-size romance idea, who was well written on the self love etc part but this book was WAY too cringe... I t could have been written by a 17 yo girl and a middle age woman at the same time... 120 books of taking everything pretty fast and how did that man lasted that long has a virgin???
It was a bit too cringe on romance and sentence for me but maybe some people like this... but again not for me.

Only cute quote :
“ I have given the right pieces of me to the wrong people and gotten hurt more times than I can count”
