i mean i enjoyed it. but this book felt so cliche
not to be prejudiced but this is why i stay away from so many maleauthored books, they fall into the same tropes. for example our one (1) female character is like the same character ive read in countless books. you could copy paste her into james bond and nothing would change except her name would be something like Maxxii Pads the story does pick up near the end. its really just a struggle getting past the male arrogance

Makes you feel like you are in the star wars universe. The characters are very memorable. Darth Bane became one of my favorite star wars villians. The strory is fast paced and epic. What a good origin story. The whole book is good, especially the ending.

Probably the strongest of all the Expanded Universe books I’ve read thus far. I felt like this had more twists and turns than in the other standard Star Wars lines.
