love this series and I am so fascinated by psychics and what they can do!

The author had me on the edge of my seat wondering about Candice, although I had a feeling that how it turned out was going to be the answer but wasn't sure what the tip off was in that regard. I was surprised at who else was involved once introduced to that character!

One big surprise was an F* bomb. only 1 and I do hope that isn't a sign that she will be putting more into future books.

Plot more intricately woven than some of the other books in the series. Thoroughly enjoyable.

First off, I hate the "Swearing doesn't count when..." line. That thing has been so overused now I'm surprised no one has called the author on it during editing. It might have been cute if said once or twice in the first book it was used in. But not over and over and over again.

The beginning wasn't bad, but the end was just this big jumble of names that I had a hard time keeping track of. Too many characters - with too many aliases - were introduced in this book. And the ending is just like this giant, messy knot of motives and coincidences that were just irritating. I feel like too much happened in the last part of the book, and that the actions and reveals should have been spread out a bit more.

This book picks up in Texas but quickly moves to Las Vegas as Abby hunts down her partner, Candice, & the truth behind the bizarre video she had to see. It seems like nothing is as it seems with her BFF & business partner, right up until the almost very end of this book. It had twists & turns that were nail-bitingly suspenseful! A great add to the Psychic Eye series.
Kudos, Ms. Laurie, kudos! Another awesome one. :) Too bad I now have to wait until the next one to come out. Check this book & this series out if you like edge-of-your-seat suspense mysteries, with an unexpected bonus of the main character's psychic abilities. :)

This book moved rather slowly for me and I felt there was a lot less action than the previous books in the series. It wasn't bad; I just didn't enjoy it as much as I usually enjoy the books in this series.

A solid Abby book. I missed Milo and Dave a bit, but I enjoyed the mystery, which starts with Abby receiving a call at like 2am from
SpoilerCandace. Her phone had been on silent, so she missed the call by about a minute and listens to her voicemail immediately. Candace begs her to go to their office, open a hidden safe, and remove a folder. Luckily Abby does so right away, because when she goes to leave, the police are just arriving. On her way home, she hides the folder at a neighbor's garage, as the neighbor is out of town and Abby is watching over the place for them. Abby makes it home just before the police, and it turns out Candace is a suspected hit man (or woman, I suppose). There's a video from an airport parking lot of her climbing out of her yellow Porsche and shooting a man in cold blood. Dutch, Bryce, and Abby all see it, and they're all confounded. We wind up learning more about Candace's first marriage, and we travel to Vegas, and we find Candace innocent, of course, because she's kinda awesome. A woman had disguised herself as Candace, but the fact one uses their left hand and the other their right finally tips Abby off after re-watching the video
. It was nice to see Abby and Dutch strong after their crazy wedding fiasco of the last book, and their relationship is stronger than ever.

2.5 stars. I am kind of over this series, particularly the way Abby still keeps things from Dutch and runs around endangering herself behind his back. It makes her seem kind of of stupid and arrogant.
