Yet another amazing book by Kathy Reichs, I love too watch Dr Temperance Brennan on the tv show Bones and this is how I got into reading the books. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole mystery off who was who and how they had managed too bury another fallen soldier in the place off someone who never even went too Vietnam. Looking forward too reading more books in the near future.

Ah I should have gone to goodreads earlier. It's immensely puzzling to see the same book with two different titles, just because it's from a different publisher. Whoever had that stupid idea?

Proper review:
Though Kathy Reichs has certainly written better novels, this one was quite a nice read. It took me 4 days to read all of the 300 pages and it's been a while since a book made me do that. As always, Kathy Reichs certainly knows how to keep up the suspension.

As for the case... well, I somewhat doubt that the cases would all be connected like that and that she suddenly thinks of a rare genetic disorder that explains why the DNA doesn't fit, but we probably wouldn't read a book if it stayed completely true to life ;)

Other than that I just want Tempe & Ryan to get over themselves.

First book I read from the series and I definitively like it better than the show. The character of Temperence Brennan id given much more depth in the book series. More than that the actual scientific analysis and experiments are more realistic (probably because K. Reichs is herself a forensic anthropologist). but one of the greatest series I read.

I had read this book before and reread it in a day during lockdown.
Temperance and Ryan have split up so there’s no real relationship in this book which focus on the work of JPAC identifying MIA skeletons. It’s actually fascinating although Tempe spends a lot of time explaining the details which slows down the story which is already complicated as there are so many bodies/skeletons to be identified.

The usual Tempe adventure. I sort of missed the fun after this book, though I am still interested in forensic facts that she put on the details. Guess Tempe & Ryan are getting serious now, huh?
