I was afraid that based on the topic of this book that I wouldn’t like it. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the case, the location, and the development in Brennan’s relationships.

This one didn't do it as much for me, things seemed to happen too conveniently and it wasn't as much of a page-turner at the end. But I did like learning more about how soldiers' remains are brought home.

Yet another amazing book by Kathy Reichs, I love too watch Dr Temperance Brennan on the tv show Bones and this is how I got into reading the books. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole mystery off who was who and how they had managed too bury another fallen soldier in the place off someone who never even went too Vietnam. Looking forward too reading more books in the near future.

Not the most engaging "Bones" book I've read. The twists and turns involving a dead American soldier during Vietnam that turns up dead again in Canada in the 1990s, his mother not being his mother, a man-eating shark in Hawaii and a Samoan street gang from Los Angeles made the early parts rather convoluted. Still the last third of the book kicked into high gear with twists, turns and danger. Overall, a fairly enjoyable read.
