Any scenes of their relationship are my favorite parts of this series. They are so sweet and supportive of each other. I adore their relationship. But other than that I feel like I lose interest in the other parts of the story. It ends up being a slow read until their cute couple moments. Maybe one day I'll check out this series again and continue with the next volume but for now I think I'm going to set it to the side.

I don't always vibe with everything in this story. Wako puts a lot of pressure on Meguru to become famous even though it is obvious that Meguru just wants to be happy with her. I'm hoping for some more development in their relationship and for Meguru to have more ambition in his career than just doing it for Wako.

While this volume was also super cute, it felt like it jumped all over the place a little bit and I almost wish we slowed down a bit to enjoy the individual scenes. I'm not sure how I feel about Sasame or Kaoru yet but Meguru and Wako held down my interest in the story overall. I hope that the focus will remain on their relationship rather than Meguru and Wako's careers. Loved the Perfume references!

My review of volume 1 of this series gives an overall sense of how I feel about this series.
Our wholesome couple continues to wholesome-ly couple. And I continued to eat it up. Loved the introduction of a new tsundere femme character, but as with volume one just couldn't get enough of Wako and Meguru.
Also - the scene with the deer eating paper in Miyajima had me in stitches. It's literally what happens and shocks you everytime smol deer eat paper.
