I hated the end of this. So much that I almost wanted to rate it a 3. But I really did enjoy it otherwise so I'm making it a 4. 
I related to this series more than Song of the marked. I liked Karys better than Casia. 
The sex scenes were on point. 

A great conclusion to this duet. I really enjoyed the way the ending happened! The FMC character arc was great, I could really see the growth in the authors writing. 

This book….this series….I can’t express how much I loved it. I have seriously been crying for the last hour or so finishing this book, and I can’t remember the last time a book got me so emotional. I’ve been stress crying, sad crying, happy crying, “I dont want it to end” crying. Now I’m just sitting here, genuinely sad to be finished with one of my favorite series I’ve ever read. Karys was truly the most perfect protagonist and a joy to follow through this story. Dravyn is everything I didn’t know I wanted in the MMC and then some. Together they are just everything. Their devotion, trust, and growth together just made me happy to keep reading. Valas will forever be a favorite of mine, as of course will Moth. Truthfully, my only complaint about this book is that it marks  the end of the duology, and I’m just not ready for it.

Won’t rate higher than a 3 if I read through reviews and still can’t remember I read a series
