Thanks netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review. I absolutely LOVE this series, it has every element in a book that I adore. Alpha male, suspense, BDSM, and lots of chemistry. Thanks so much for allowing me a copy so I get to continue in this series. Best BDSM series I have read since Tiffany Reisz saints. Five stars.

I received an ARC from the Author for an honest review.

I am surprised every time I read another installment of this awesome series! In No In Between, Lisa has done it again! There is so much more to be discovered by Sara and Chris. The twists and turns that make up this story are addicting. I had to find out more! The cast of characters are well-developed and the world they live in feel real.

I can't wait to see what is next for everyone. I want Sara and Chris and especially Mark to find real happiness in this chaotic world. I have a feeling that we still don't know everything yet, and that is what keeps it exciting and me coming back over and over again.

I recommend this series to all of my fellow book lovers! Keep it up, Lisa! I can't wait for more!!

I enjoyed it. Even though we still don't get answers in regards to what happened to Ella.
And I'm 80% sure Rebecca isn't dead... Maybe is wishful thinking because I really want Mark to have his happy ending.

After becoming engaged in Paris, things are all supposed to be great for our darlings, aren't they. But as we have read the Inside Out series, we know that things are never that easy for Chris and Sara.

There are still so many hurdles for the pair to overcome - Chris's dark thoughts, Mark's pulling away from the running of the gallery, the troubles Ava has caused, Rebecca's murder.

We are finally starting to get somewhere with the whole missing Rebecca Mason story too. Is Ava (the psycho hose beast!) the murderer? Was Mark kill her? Was Chris involved?

Nuh uh, am not going to tell you, but we are close to finding things out!!

I loved how through all the troubles, Sara and Chris are still strong, and growing closer and stronger every day. There are so many things and people that are trying to destroy them and it is heartwarming to see them gain strength through each other.

There are a few blasts from the past who make an appearance, people we haven't seen for a while. I love love loved that we got more of Katie and Mike, Chris' godparents. They are only minor players in the story, but they play such a big part in Chris's life, and I hope we hear more from them as the story continues.

My heart breaks for Mark in No In Between. He has been put through the wringer with the whole Rebecca situation, along with what is currently happening with his family (if you have read My Hunger you will know what this is all about). Even though he is an arrogant, rude, crude arse most of the time, you can feel the hurt behind his words. I just hope that Crystal can bring the old Mark back - even if, yes, he was still an arrogant arse, at least he was a happy arse!

Can't wait for the next novella in Mark and Crystal's story, My Control

Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with an advance reader copy in exchange of an honest review.

Actual rating: 3,5 stars

Finally the action this story needed!
The case is on and now it's all much darker and twisted, we have a hard time understanding who's the liar and who's not and finally we have answers!
A great ending leaving us excited for the next book!
As for the characters we had a development of sara and chris's relationship but as a person we had a great Marc's growing, we needed to see this side of him and he's a very interesting character.
A nice read and hoping it all ends well.

Just wow, I didn't think you could pack more drama into a book if you tried. LRJ has gone full mystery/drama at this point and the romance is like a pesky detail that occasionally needs to be attended to. And because regular sex is just boring at this point, it has to be more BDSM or adventure some sex style, especially after traumatic events.

So just as a recap (and total spoiler), if you think your life is bad, imagine being Mark, Chris, or Sara. For Mark:
* your beloved mother is dying of cancer very suddenly
* your beloved art business has a soiled image because some of your bat shit crazy employees decided they didn't care about money and just wanted to make you suffer so they set you up to sell counterfeit art
* your beloved sex club has to be sold because 'it looks bad' and people are blackmailing you
* the love of your life is looking increasingly dead. But there is still a vague hope she's alive that dims with every page, causing you to suffer immensely over the course of several weeks. Oh yeah, and you basically killed her and have to live with that.
* people are trying to kill you, many people
* the police think you killed the love of your life, and the police are pretty incompetent at actually finding these people
* you keep banging the hot chick who is your mother's confidant even though you still love the probably dead girl. She's also your only trusted employee at this point, and you keep messing with her emotions.
* the press is stalking you
* Your best friend you used to share women with has turned on you and is now sleeping with 1 of your 3 remaining employees
* Your one friend left is the girl you hired because she looks like Rebecca and you keep trying to sleep with her, which is blatant sexual harassment and she could probably sue you. Her boyfriend, who is also trying to help you, really does not like it when you sexually assault her either.

Chris and Sara (can be combined because they are essentially operating as one unit at this point):
* Mark, who caused almost all of these problems, is not talking about what he knows and is drinking and/or locking himself in his office continuously
* the press are stalking you
* random people keep cornering Sara and playing mind games with her
* random people keep fighting over Sara and/or sexually harassing her. This includes her former boss and cluster-fuck maniac Mark, the lead detective on the case, and her ex-boyfriend who has just decided to stalk Sara around town for good old measure.
* random people keep trying to kill Sara. And even if they are locked up, then Chris/Sara are accused of the crime said psychopath did or the pyscopath escapes and is probably trying to murder them
* Even though people are trying to kill you, you can't hide in Paris and you still have to testify because it will 'look bad' otherwise
* Sara keeps trying to control situations which usually ends up with them in more trouble
* Amber hangs herself. Why not.

I actually laughed when Amber hung herself because about 5 pages before I had thought "Man, this really couldn't get any worse. Oh wait, I bet Amber tries to come to the US to murder Sara too". But no, Amber does the worst thing she possibly could and decides to commit suicide instead.

The Ella storyline was totally neglected in this book, but I have a feeling that's going to be resolved soon... at least Ella is still *likely* alive. Chris is also looking less and less like a totally messed up person and more and more like a guy who walked into the biggest mess ever. I'm not as empathetic for Sara because she creates a lot of her own messes (let's keep a journal like Rebecca! Because that worked out well for her!).

This has been on my TBR for SO long and I just kept bypassing it for newer releases or non-series books. I'm not sure why I kept passing it up but eventually the desire to read it grew less and less because I feared that I waited too long since the previous book to pick it up. Today I decided to find out what I was missing out on. I'm happy to report that pretty quickly into this book, the whole story came flooding right back and I couldn't stop reading.
LRJ has this way of throwing in these twists and turns that keep the story interesting with each new book that keep the story from fizzling out and feeling like its unnecessarily being dragged out.
It's so great to see Sara and Chris in a good place for once. Aside from Sara's fear that she cannot keep Chris from running for the whip, they are at peace with their pasts and eager to get on with their future. With their secrets behind them and the determination to move forward together, this book delves into their hunt for the truth about what happened to Rebecca and who exactly is behind it all. I have to say, I'm completely invested and after that epilogue I can't imagine putting off the next books for as long as I did this one.
