he first Marvel novel I've read and a good one to start off on. Madeleine Roux has a really great feel for the characters, particularly Loki and Tony. Equal parts funny and heartbreaking.

my hot take is that i love comic book stories but i don’t like 99% of comic book artwork… so this loki story told in novel form is just my niche. rich, multi-sensory prose and a fun use of roving third person when it comes to writing characters of such differing temperament and origin - the asgardian fish-out-of-water humor will NEVER get old to me. a bit anticlimactic but it wouldn’t be marvel otherwise

Pretty good, but I did take issue with the whole "Tony Stark's the villain" plotline. I know that it's a separate universe, but I just could NOT picture it!! Also the "doctor wormhole" thing. My mind automatically autofilled that to Dr. Strange. Instead, we get Jane Foster.

Good reading for a bit of fun, but I liked the Wanda and Peter Parker one better

i enjoyed this even more than expected. Loki is my favorite marvel character which is the whole reason i picked up the book but wow. i completely fell in love with the other characters. Runa and Donna, Quinn, the portrayal of Jane Foster. You can tell this book was written by a women just by how awesome these characters are written.
