This book is a NECESSARY companion to the unprecedented Bone Season series. Not only is it an incredibly interesting read in and of itself, but it provides a much richer understanding of clairvoyance and the social atmosphere of clairvoyant London. An absolute must have.

A creepy look into Jaxon’s mind
Jaxons need for control and his sense of superiority is very cleverly displayed by Shannon in this book and sets up the revelations about him very nicely

Fascinating stuff! Very clever writing from Shannon, the detail of each order of clairvoyance is amazing.

So glad I read this! The powers in the books now make so much more sense. Also, I read this entire pamphlet in Mark Sheppard's voice (Crowley on Supernatural).

This is that pamphlet written by Jaxon Hal. We have here a basic information about each Unnaturalness, resulting in the classification of the Seven Orders.
For sure it can be helpful for new readers, who start the journey with "Bone Season". They will able to follow up all classes and know what powers they have.

This is such a fantastic little addition to The Bone Season series. I'm so glad they decided to publish this as an ebook, though I'd definitely love a physical copy.
On the Merits of Unnaturalness is a pamphlet written by Jaxon Hall, the Mime-lord that Paige works for in TBS, and his voice is captured perfectly in this. I saw the same Jaxon I saw in the books and I really enjoyed this. I can see why some of the Voyants were offended by this, but it was very educational. I'd be interested to know if the dates of the types of Clairvoyant first appearing in literature are real. All in all this was an entertaining tidbit and I'm just going to repeat how happy I am that Bloomsbury released this, I'm SO EXCITED about this series!
