“The Voice on the Radio” picks up shortly after “Whatever Happened to Janie?” Janie is back living with the family that she grew up with, but goes and see her biological family often. Along with that, her boyfriend is off to college states away in Boston.

“The Voice on the Radio” more follows the boyfriend’s perspective. While at collage he finds himself a college radio station in a prime hour. He manages to get really popular on this radio station, but doesn’t tell Janie about his success. After Janie, her sister and one of her brothers make a surprise visit to Boston, they hear what he’s been talking about on the radio and shit hits the fan.

Honestly, I did enjoy this book, however I didn’t enjoy it as much as the last two books. I’m not sure if it was due to a lot of the personal things going on in my life right now, or maybe I just didn’t feel it. Regardless, I will be continuing this series and super excited to see what happens next.

This story continues to be an emotional roller-coaster. It seems like nothing could be worse than the way it started but it did get worse. Of course, Cooney did a wonderful job at wrapping up. I cant wait to see what happens in the next book.

Loved it! Just like the previous two books in the series, this book is short, and yet is good enough to keep you flipping the pages.

There's a little roadblock brought into Janie and Reeve's relationship when Reeve decides to blab Janie's story on the radio, basically selling her out. (Is that a spoiler? *shrugs*)

Jodie appeared in this book, which causes the story into showing us the family love that was growing between Janie and Jodie ^_^. Good thing, it'd be sad if they never spoke again.

The story ends at such a place, that you want to smack the author for leaving you hanging...or at least, I wanted to. XD

Really excited to get into the next book (which is the last one too *sadface*)!
