“The Voice on the Radio” picks up shortly after “Whatever Happened to Janie?” Janie is back living with the family that she grew up with, but goes and see her biological family often. Along with that, her boyfriend is off to college states away in Boston.

“The Voice on the Radio” more follows the boyfriend’s perspective. While at collage he finds himself a college radio station in a prime hour. He manages to get really popular on this radio station, but doesn’t tell Janie about his success. After Janie, her sister and one of her brothers make a surprise visit to Boston, they hear what he’s been talking about on the radio and shit hits the fan.

Honestly, I did enjoy this book, however I didn’t enjoy it as much as the last two books. I’m not sure if it was due to a lot of the personal things going on in my life right now, or maybe I just didn’t feel it. Regardless, I will be continuing this series and super excited to see what happens next.
