I enjoyed this one! All The Murmuring Bones by #agslatter was an easy read. The books was fast paced and had enough twists to keep my interest. Keeping up a familial deal with the mer falls to Miren to uphold. But she isn’t inclined to pay the steep price. This reads like an old timey cautionary fairy tale.

I love the blending of the mundane, folklore, and magic. I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator's voice was delightful. I will be picking up a paperback copy and look forward to falling back in to this interesting world.

Dark, horrifying, and haunting. So sinister that I can't get the image of the Mer out of my head. It is wildly original and beautifully written.

Absolutely loved this book. My enjoyment was likely enhanced because I listened to it on Audible and the narrator was just a joy to listen too. Miren is a kickass young woman with a strong sense justice. I will definitely read whatever the author puts out next. Just amazing.

Starts out classic gothic horror with a touch of myth. Expands into actual magic and ghosts and continues it's gothic horror beginnings. I'm not sure it's a happy ending, but more of a content ending. It was beautifully written and very compelling.
