I wasn't a big fan of the narrator.  I may have better luck with a physical copy.

I'm hiding this review because most people probably won't care, but the plot of this book is somewhat meh and leaves lots of unanswered questions and seeing as the book was written in 2007 I don't think they're likely to be answered. I'm sure I bought this as a kindle special and it was ok and the best part of it was it was *steamy* so read it for that and take the plot as a bonus.

I didn't like how there wasn't much development of the connection between the FMC and MMC. They lusted after each other, but it seemed like the MMC's deeper feelings for the FMC resulted from wanting to feel love like what Cross feels for Lyssa more than from him actually being drawn to HER. The way his feelings were explained made it seem like he would have had feelings for anyone who happened to be at Cross and Lyssa's house when he got there. It just so happened to be the FMC.
I didn't mind the FMC resisting because it did all happen very quickly and I could understand her being wary of the MMC. With that being said, her feelings didn't seem genuine by the end of the book because of the lack of relationship development on page.
Overall, I liked the continued storyline from book one and liked the FMC and MMC. I would have liked more development of their relationship because it seemed very shallow throughout the book. I will give three stars because the story was enjoyable but so much more could have been done with it.

Hot, hot, hot! As erotica goes, very well done. There's a plot, some decent characterization, and more than just a thin thread to hold the sex scenes together.

I was a little put off by the "huge" (in more ways than one) hero, but this has really become a trend in paranormal romance recently, so....

I think I would have liked this more had I read the first book, since this is a sequel that almost, but not quite, stands alone. Three and a half stars.

This will teach me to double check Goodreads (or the like) before starting a book within an apparent series.

There was serious potential for this series, but with no intention of completion readers are just left with unanswered questions.
