The spice level has been risen since book 1. Love the ending as it answered a particular curious question I had about complete obedience regarding a certain blood bond.

Not as good as the first one. The jokes were very repetitive and I don't think the back story they gave her was needed/relevant, it just felt very out of place.

Still love Vivian, she's giving manic vampire dream girl. The world-building is starting to broaden in this book and I'm here for it! The war between gods is starting and you can not trust anyone. Grim we must protect at all cost, I love him. This series so far is entertaining, with some good twists and turns, and the spice is delicious.

While I mostly enjoy this series, it never quite feels satisfying or really good. The writing style is a bit odd, and takes me out of the moment. But it’s not bad enough for me to dnf the series. Definitely some very funny moments

My first Holly Roberds book but y’all!! I am loving all of these characters. The narrators are amazing as Grim & Viviene. Can’t wait to listen to more from Sinopolis & this world:)

I did enjoy this one but found it dragged a little, not in a rush to read the third book. I must say I really love the Egyptian myth aspects of the book!
