Another good addition to this series. Nothing too heavy. And we are, of course, left with yet another cliffhanger!

My favourite characters are Michael and Myrnin.

One of the things I am really enjoying about this series is the way the characters develop. There are some characters who start off bad and then start to make better choices... and there are some characters who start off good and maybe turn out bad...

Anyway, it's fun :)

And this is the last book I got up to last time I read this series! Book 5 is a whole new adventure~

I am noticing a pattern with these books. There is a great conflict coming, and it has potential. However, so much of the story is spent on building the studpidity of the characters (they NEVER learn and NEVER see things coming - even though they've been there, done that over and over) that the solid part of the story is short, rushed, and then held overe for the next book. I suspect the next book will start slowly, building the stupidity again. Sigh.

I want to like this series, really I do. Right now the primary merit to this series is the availability of the MP3 audio format through the library.

The Merlin character is very interesting. I need to remind myself that Morganville reads like a TV series not like a movie. There really is no self contained storyline in each book, just a long arc that is being told throughout them all.

Not nearly as good as the earlier books in the series. Not much to say because not much happened then it ended on a cliffhanger so major that I felt like this book was simply a tease for the next or worse purposefully stretched out to sell more books. This book feels very incomplete. I still like the series enough to continue, but I if the next is as weak as this book, I'll be done with the series.

I can't say this one was my favorite, but I liked how you got see more of the inner dynamics of the vampire world. I found some of the story pretty predictable but enjoyable. I am intrigued enough to keep reading, but it is not something I can't put down. Nothing truly earth shattering new, nor is it tension filled "I can't wait to find out what happens next" but the series is enjoyable and light.

This one definitely moved more quickly than the last one. It really didn't feel like the tension let up from start to finish, and once again, the end left me wanting more and wanting to know what would happen next. I continue to enjoy Claire as the main character and like seeing how she's growing up. I will definitely be continuing the series!
