The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle

The 9th and last of Sherlock Holmes stories.

This was not my favorite. Doyle had tried to end writing Sherlock Holmes twice before, but due to public demand, he continued. It seems as Doy's heart was not in this collection.

Again, this is a collection of short stories, however, three are not told by Sherlock's loyal companion, Watson.

Unlike some authors who run out of ideas, many of the later Holmes' stories are among the best.

Excellent. There are some good variations here as Doyle experiments with narrators and aging his characters. But also solid stuff.

Apparently I finished this in 2007, but I am reading it again and don't remember most or all of the stories.
