Apparently I finished this in 2007, but I am reading it again and don't remember most or all of the stories.

The short stories are interseting, but the later ones and especally the ones without Watson Narrating are lacking in that familiar feeling of suspence and awe that we look forward to in Sherlock Holmes stories.

Read most of his stories years ago but finally nabbed the final collection of stories that isn't usually collected with the rest. They definitely feel like a step down in quality, but there are still a few winners in there.

I have enjoyed all of the Sherlock stories and this was no exception. It was one of my least favorite of the short story collections--but for any particular reason, mostly because not many of the stories really stood out to me. But! They were still good and I really enjoyed reading them.

Not the strongest book, when "Watson" isn't writing they take a turn for the worse. A few gems, but also some clonkers.
