Absolutely beautiful book looking into every step of the industry from death to burial/cremation. Didn’t know that there were still people creating death masks, so that was interesting. Has also helped me realise a few things about my own interests in the industry.

i appreciated the topics covered in this book, and i found it really well written and easy to understand

i kind of have to agree with some of the lower reviewers that i would have preferred less of the author’s opinion (the points where she seemed to argue with her interviewees- especially the executioner- really irked me)

i am not a nonfiction enjoyer LOL but i tried to rate this without the bias of like,, not enjoying nonfic very much so i think that my feelings on it were generally neutral
