Aaliyah is a nurse, but once her father is shot dead she won't stop at nothing to find the culprit even if it means going back to the MC life that she left behind. When she gets the chance to infiltrate the rival MC accused of killing her dad, she dives right in but she gets more than she bargained for. The four guys she's attracted to are lie her—avatar of Egyptian gods. Now Aaliyah is trying to find out more about her, her guys and her father's murder without letting the guys know who she really is.

This story grips you from page 1, and it ends with a cliffhanger. I'm really curious to see how the story will progress.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

This book was out of this world and i loved every page.
I was honestly blown out of the water with this one, it had everything you could want.
A brilliant plot with amazing world-building and characters that were so well written and had amazing backstories.
The plot gripped you from the first page and I loved that the romance wasn't thrown together but build up as the story went.

All Aaliyah wanted to do in life is to heal people. So, she left the MC and set out to pursue a career in nursing. After her father was murdered, she returns to a life she had longed to get away from. When an incident leads her straight to the Jackal's den (her family's Rivals), her world gets flipped upside down.

This....was....amazing!! This was a wonderful blend of MC, mythology, enemies to lovers/rivals. I was definitelyhooked from the very beginning. Aaliayah was a mix of badassary and a kind an compassionate soul. A lot of twists, turns, betrayal, a bit of steam but the chemistry between Aaliyah and her harem were off the charts. This is my first book from Skyler Andra and definitely left me wanting more! Can't wait to start the next one!

Once I read the synopsis of this book I knew I had to read it. I adore Egyptian history and looked forward to seeing this new take on gods and goddesses.

This was an interesting combination of Egyptian gods and an MC, and it did work fairly well. I would have liked a bit more of an explanation of why they were chosen as avatars for the gods and what it entailed. As well as a bit more information on how it all worked, especially since I was initially unsure if all people had powers or just them and if it was a secret and why. I did appreciate the explanation of the gods and what qualities they gave to each character. It was repeated a few times and there was even reference section.

This was a good introduction to the series and the characters. It did move fairly slow but the last few chapters really picked up. Interested to see how the dynamic changes after some revelations and where the rest of the story will go.

SLOWWWWW

Wow, this book dragggggged onnnn. I had high hopes as I began reading because the main plot is good! Everything just progressed at a snails pace. Also, the glimpses of back stories on the characters was giving me whiplash and then the book ended without tying any of the backstories up. Like, stop bringing up bits and pieces of who Liz was. Lay it out for the readers because I don’t want to continue hearing about a non existent character in book two. I was hoping for some major spice as it’s a why choose. Not in this book, not until the end and even then I wasn’t impressed as it only involved the FMC with one of the men.

I love mixed POVs but this one was hard to follow. It seemed like the timing was different for each one but nothing was explained. Also annoyed by the FMC and her lack of deductive reasoning, but that's a personal problem

I may have stayed up late to read this. Maybe.

The cliffhanger bothered me but only because I hate cliffhangers however this can be let off as the next book is already there so who cares.

Lost a star because this book could do with some editing. Its not awful but theres a paragraph on page 33 that was repeated or sort of repeated, most of its there the last line is different. Odd but nothing some further editing couldn't fix.

So far interesting start to an addictive series I think.
