An interesting story

So, first, the cons:
There's some editing issues that should be fixed. Early on, there's about half a page repeated a page or two later (like the author couldn't decide where to put the paragraph, and accidently put it in two places). There's a couple of other things, but they don't really take from the story.

My other con, and this is just my personal opinion. They talk a lot about their ex. I get it. It was their fated mate. It was traumatizing when they lost her. But me personally, I was getting a bit sick of hearing about her. I'm not sure how long they had been with her, just that she had died two years prior. A death of a loved one isn't something you get over too much, I'm sure, but honestly, I was sick enough reading about her, that even talking about her now is annoying me, lol.

PROS!
I like most of the characters. Slade is a d**k. Again - I know he's supposed to come off that way, and that's fine. He's definitely not my favourite character, though. I like that the Jackals aren't at all like what the FMC was expecting.

I look forward to future groveling for what happens in this book!

This is an MC, PNR, & RH. That’s right, the trifecta! I ate this book up like it was my last meal (And when you read it you’ll know which meal I’m thinking about). A lot is going on with our characters in a short time; angst, rivalry, love, suspense, drama and it’s all on the verge of chaos. I was so far on the edge of my seat, that I might’ve fallen off a few times & cursed. Multiple POV, I enjoyed that in some cases when the characters were not together the timeline didn’t continue but went back to the other character for their journey during the time, so you don't get any missed story. I don’t want to give too much away because it’s all a part of the journey but I recommend starting the journey with Nurse A & the Jackals. Be warned it does end on a cliffhanger, that may or may not make you scream.
Ps. Skyler keeps putting things in books that I have never read before, it’s magical. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it

This is a very modern take on Egyptian mythology and puts a unique MC twists on it. It is written with vivid description, complex and intriguing characters. There is betrayal, magic, rivals, and so many things that made for a riveting read.

Motorcycle Club meets Egyptian Gods. OMG when I found out Skyler was writing about Egyptian Gods I was ecstatic. Then I found out she mixed in a motorcycle club and I was even happier. Slade/Set, Castor/Thoth, Alaric/Horus, Zethan/Osiris and Aaliyah/Isis were just hot and tension filled and the mystery and action. I love that Aaliyah wants to find out who killed her father and wants revenge and ends up being mates to the MC Gods. I can't wait to find out what happens next to this group.

Loved this but then I love all of skyler books, this a twist of a book mixed between MC and Egyptian gods and it was amazing I loved the contrast.

I love castor and alaric they were my fav 2 guys can't wait til book 2 now

Egyptian mythology and motorcycles? What more could you ever ask for?!?
