Weirdo editing error, Zoe takes Oceanography twice. Whoops! Still, this had plot and stuff so huge improvement over the first two books in this series. Slightly tedious though. I have to wonder if this was the author's first series because its not as polished or on-point as her Witches series, or even her Avery Reporter series.

This book moves a little faster than the first 3 and we're finally getting somewhere with Zoe's mysterious power. By the end we are seeing the beginning of what she can do, which makes me wonder what will happen in the next (and final?) book.
I like that Zoe, Paris & Kelsey have formed a tight little trio and definitely have each others backs in this one, but the two roommates are just as bad as Brittany (from her freshman year) and Laura & Matilda (from her sophomore year) and really just didn't need the be there except for the comic relief.
While she annoyed me a little in the previous books, I still love how much a smart ass Zoe is and the fact that despite knowing it's going to get her into trouble, she still runs her mouth! To quote Raphael, she's infuriating but we're still strangely drawn to her.

Another fun and extremely entertaining instalment. I liked the mystery in this instalment but I especially liked Zoe in this instalment. I liked how she is starting to learn more about what she can do but more I have really grown to love her snark. I also really warmed to Paris and Kelsey in this book and love where their characters have gone. I can't believe how quickly i have breezed through this series. Another entertaining read and I am looking forward to reading the final book of the series next

I enjoyed this book! Less continuity issues. Hated Zoe and Aric being split up but absolutely loved seeing Zoe discover more of her power!

The more the story progresses the more supernatural elements mix with the college experience. I’m finding it hilarious and so entertaining.
This was a book where the romance took a halt so Zoe could evaluate the relationship, and it felt quite real. Supernatural apart

Zoe is depressed, and heartbroken. She no longer trusts Aric, and they have been a part for a while now. But when she gets back to school, she realizes that she must figure things out on her own and move on, especially when it looks like Aric is moving on.
So, Zoe decides to join the monster hunters, and figure out what the plan really is with them. However, she never expected the things she does find out, and when she keeps running into Aric and things aren't making sense, she will do whatever she can to figure it out before it is too late.
This one was okay. I liked how Zoe handled things in this one, and I really felt all of the emotion that she was going through as well. The only thing that really bothered me were the choices Aric made. I didn't understand his secrecy about certain things again, or the reason he did it. It just didn't make sense to me. I was so very annoyed with that, but I was happy with what happened in the end. I'm excited for the next book now.
