Not sure what to make of this. I didn't find the ending particularly believable and so much of the main character's thoughts were scattered it's hard to make sense of it. I just kind of get the feeling of whiplash after reading the whole thing. Also, I found it hard to suspend disbelief to accept the ending.

Loved this take on a haunted house. I couldn’t rate it higher because the middle section did drag for me, but overall I enjoyed it!

3.75. More haunting than actual ghosts? Shared family trauma. This book explores a families past and reconnecting after unfortunate scenarios. What has been haunting this family for all of these years? This book sets up some amazing characters that will stick with me for a while. They are messy and imperfect and relatable. Enjoyed the backdrop of the haunted house story, but the meat of this book really was the familial connections for me.
