Intense.
This was the most intense book of this series, in my opinion. Although, it was a reread for me, I really felt like I was reading for the first time again. Super excited to be going through this authors books, again.

Hidden Currents by Christine Feehan: Least favorite book of the series if only because of the first 5 chapters. She went a little to much over to the dark side for my taste but she ended the book strong! I do like Elle/Jackson as a couple and felt she tied the series up nicely. You have to read this one if for no other reason to see how all 7 men and women work together in the end showing what true family, love, and devotion is all about.

One of my favorites of the Drake series! I've always loved the characters of Elle and Jackson. They just go so well together becuase they are so different yet so alike in many ways. Becuase it was so well written I could understand what Elle was going through and I loved how Jackson was always right there for her even when he's never that comfortable with emotions and such. Great story thats well written and a perfect ending for the series with all the characters!

Great closure to the series; slow burn romance over years.
Explicit rape and torture.
