Honestly not very good writing- weird editing errors and awkward dialogue but goddamn Tristan and Morana had me foaming at the mouth so it still gets 4 stars.

I’m kinda split on this one…loved the story, hated the writing. It was so repetitive and just incorrect at times. I am really curious for Dante and Amara’s story though so I’m gonna soldier on and start book 3.

I loved getting more of Morana’s story. Seeing her learn more about her past and overcome it to become more of a bad ass. I loved the way she always knew how to handle Tristan

Oh my god!! This book was AMAZING!!I'm so happy for both of them that they finally got what they deserved; love and each other and a future filled with happiness.

Tristan in this book was perfect and that epilogue was everything. Knowing the depth of his love for her and the happiness she brought him just by being there, just by smiling at her made me so happy for him.

Morana. I love and adore her. Her strength, her mind everything about her

I felt a much stronger attachment to the characters in this book! In the previous one, I struggled to connect with them, so I’m happy to see that shift in this sequel.

The enemies-to-lovers and found family tropes in this book were so good, getting to see Morana open up more with Amara were some of my favorite moments and I hope we get to see them together a bit more in the later books! I really enjoyed watching Morana form deeper connections with Dante, Tristan, and Amara, which added so much depth to the story that I felt the first book was lacking.

The plot twist near the end genuinely surprised me—I didn’t see it coming and I felt like it was passed over a little too quickly but it still was interesting to read.

I’m excited to read Amara and Dante’s story!
