This series is like a trashy reality show and I love it. It’s like the Bachelor, but in a castle.

While America irked me at times, I was ROOTING for her. I’m so glad she finally broke it off with Aspen because they were playing a dangerous game in the second book. Maxon was also a bit annoying at times in the sense that he kept telling America she was the one, but he wouldn’t say “I love you” and he kept leading Kriss on too. Honestly, this series would only be one book long if America and Maxon just communicated. I also feel like the ending was so rushed and the interesting plot twists had no effect on the storyline.

Overall, I did enjoy this series, I just wish the ending was more thought out.

Every plot comes to a head as the rebellion and romance run rampant with questions, secrets revealed, side adventures beyond the palace walls, and a changing world. A fantastic, entertaining beloved book of the series, at its peak with all the best parts. And a perfect ending to the series that’s sure to have you on the edge of your seat, reading the entire book in a single day; laughing, crying, screaming, smiling, and feeling all the feels!

What a beautiful way to end this journey America has gone on! Definitely my favorite book in the series! So many moments were devastating, and others so wonderful, but it all just made sense together! I loved every bit of it!

Surprisingly this was better than the second one. Honestly completely skip the second one and you won’t miss anything. The beginning of this book was pretty boring and as per the other books has a lot of racism classicism and sexism baked into it. However toward the end we get some girls supporting girls moments and the ending is truly wild 10/10 great ending. Also loved when America’s sister finally called her out for stringing two guys along, it’s what ever reader is thinking. But the ending is wow truly a mess of absolute wild events. I fully felt the shock of reading it yet again. A true plot twist resolving the whole plot. idk why there are two more books but i guess we’ll see
fr what was 2014 me on about tho 😂
