Gobbled this up like candy. I finished the first book and immediately bought this one. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. Lucien is another level of hotness!

Once again great book. I had a wonderful book buddy gift this book to me and I am so thankful! Mr. Knight does not disapoint! There was a little portion of this book that I wasn't sure if I would finsih because but I am glad I did.
I love that we got to know a little more about Lucien's childhood and what he went through. I love that Sophie still struggled with what she should do after everything went down. I felt that Sophie was REAL. That this could actually happen and many women would feel and act the same way. Overall another 5 star read from Miss Kitty French!

This was such a good series, there was a few times I really wanted to just punch Lucian in is junk, but other than that I recommend this series

What an incredible series. I expected these books to be more smut than plot line, but I was wrong. It was a great balance of everything. I was taken on the journey with both Sophie and Lucien. It's glorious, it's heartbreaking, it's delightful and it's painful. I ran the gamut of emotions. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves to "feel" their reads!

Continues where book 1 left off, but with a slight switch in tone. Dan is back, and the reality of her affair has left Sophie with a lot of emotional and practical decisions to make about her life with Dan and a possible future with Lucien, especially given his push-pull response to her. There was a lot more emotional depth to this book than to book 1, without so much of the urgency and unexpectedness.
I both enjoyed and was frustrated by it. I sympathized with Sophie and Lucien as they slowly worked to overcome their personal demons, was annoyed by Dan's unwillingness to grow up, and honestly wondered how the author could bring it all to a HEA in a way that would make sense to me -- but she did, so yay to that.

The smut continued with so much more......Oh Kitty French how I love thee!!! This series was AMAZING!! I swooned, I got angry, I cried, my heart broke and I cheered for Sophie Black, I felt what she felt. Some many think that the story is immoral or scandalous due to the story's plot points but for me it was something you can relate too, if you open your mind.
