Enjoyed this more than I enjoyed Alice in Wonderland... cute and fun! Hopefully Tim Burton won't ruin it! :P

I think i understood more this read through than when I heard it as a child. In a world where chaos reigns and nothing makes sense, Alice is kind and curious. She has few expectations of her journey or the characters she meets along the way.
Lewis Carroll is a genius of nonsense if ever there was! I do so love Alice, she's positively wonderful! However I was very annoyed with the clumsy Knight character, he was talked about so much and did so little, it got momentarily boring. Nonetheless a delightful, abstract, quirky little read!

Not as good as the first but still relatively enjoyable
This was quite adorable! I read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland two years ago, just in time for the 150th birthday and I loved that book way more than I thought I would. Since then I kind of forgot about the sequel but by chance, I saw the book again and finally got it.
I don't like Through the Looking-Glass as much as the first book, unfortunately. The first one had a plot that I found quite adorable and fun but not so much this one. And there weren't as many amazing puns either. It was still fun and not a bad read (obviously a quick and easy one) but I had hoped for a bit more.

Like this one just as much as the original. Maybe even slightly more.
Having the story structure be a game of chess is interesting.
Tweedledee and tweedledum were my favourites. I really like Humpty Dumpty too.
Lebih bagus sedikit dari buku yang pertama, tapi membosankannya sama.
