It doesn't quite have the same magic as the first, but it's really no less wonderful. A fine part of a tremendous whole.

Absolute nonsense and not in a good way.

While I am giving this the same rating as the first of the series, I actually found myself enjoying this one more than the other - even if it is equally hard to follow nonsense. This was actually more fun nonsense, it had a little bit of plot this time around (however vague and random it may be) and had slightly more comprehendible - if not, at least more frequently reoccurring - characters.

I do still seriously question how many drugs (and of what types) Carol was on to invent this stuff. I did a whole section of a university course studying this man and his stories and all it did was raise more questions than it gave answers… oh, and seriously gave me the creeps

Wonderful audiobook version

I enjoyed the story here decently, but it just wasn't quite as catching and endearing as Wonderland was. I'm not all that big on random bits of poetry into my narrations, either, and a whole lot of the content here was different poems by Carroll. As much as this is a pretty random story, it made that much harder to really concentrate on the story itself, and that much more disjointed.

It was worth the read, but I expect in the future I'll stick with Wonderland and skip Through the Looking Glass.
