A little slow at the start but with plenty of steam. And that ending!!! Just wow. Charlotte and Perry are quickly becoming a favorite couple for me from the Midnight Dynasty. They are both a little insecure in this arranged marriage and finding their way, but together they are absolute fire. Loving this series so far and I'm excited for the next book.

This book definitely kicks up the spice! The tension in the first book was terrific, but I thoroughly enjoyed the honeymoon scenes. I loved getting to know more about both Charlotte and Perry and seeing their trust and relationship grow. I will say Perry's changing moods gave me whiplash a few times, and his cruelness towards Charolette felt a bit out of character. Regardless, I can't wait for the third and final book in this trilogy!

Wow! This second book had me so hooked, I freakin loved it! Perry and Charlotte's chemistry gets hotter in this book!

Perry and Charlotte weren't planning on going on a honeymoon after they got married but Winston surprises them to a trip to Mexico! They grow closer and I think in doing so builds a bond between the two.

But, with these two secrets begin to spill and Charlotte's ex comes back into the picture which turns everything upside down! What will happen next?! I need to know and I can't wait until the final book comes!

This does end on a cliffhanger but it's to be expected since its a part of a 3 book trilogy. I definitely recommend!
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Perry and Charlotte's story continues where we left off in the first book, we get a new side of Perry, I was hooked in the first one but this one had more angst and drama which made me love it even more. This story is just getting better and better, it leaves us hanging so I can't wait for the next and final one in this trilogy between the Morellis and the Constantines.

This was one of the most boring and annoying books I have ever read. 😭
I was excited to listen to a Monica Murphy because everyone has been raving about her.
I literally had to force myself to listen to the book. 😖
😟 I'm sure there are those out there who love this book, but it is def not for me and I am worried about reading any other of her books now 😨

I just finished reading this book and I’m all agitated! What a cliffhanger! Not for the faint of heart!

Continuing with Charlotte Lancaster and Perry Constantine’s marriage of convenience, this union was convenient for everybody but them. But Charlotte wanted to get out of her house and Perry wanted to please his mother, so the marriage happened.

This couple had started to know each other and realized that a marriage between them would not be too hard, given they had their first sexy night and they got on like a house on fire. So the future seemed promising and on to their wedding date they go. But Seamus McTiernan, Charlotte’s Paris ex-lover, came to her on her wedding day and scared her with menaces and dark premonitions. She called Perry scared, he came running, and this tension about Charlotte’s past brought up distrust.

The book deals with Charlotte and Perry’s rocky relation, and the lover from the past that brings more suspicion and menace than previously thought. His relation to the Morelli's and the hate between all these families is cause for a suspicion of business spying.

The tug and pull between Charlotte and Perry, their chemistry that was too much to resist, even in spite of mistrust, their burgeoning feelings for each other and the low thrum of menace made this a page turner story. I felt pity for Charlotte and her thirst for love and attention, got mad frequently with Perry for being an insensitive brute, but loved their chemistry that flared whenever they were near. The honeymoon was hot
