Another good Nesbo book. I really like Harry Hole's character. The only quibble I have is the end just seems to ebb away as with The Snowman. However, I will be reading more from him....

هاري
لماذا انت بكل هذا الغباء
لا اعلم لماذا اتخيل هاري في شكل هالاند فقط مع الشعر الأبيض

The fourth book in this incredible Norwegian crime novel series was one of the better one. Rich in detail, deceptive and twisting with its clues, immensely complicated characters and a mystery that just never seemed to stop...until it did...sort of. Harry Hole is a detective in a long line of flawed heroes who struggle to keep going. He’s become one of my favorites because of those flaws. This is no “superman” detective who always gets it right, fights well and always hits his target. Far from it. And that’s why he’s become so popular.

Listened to the audible version.
One of his better stories.
Not too many graphic scenes.
Harry is not drinking in this book.
Integration of the gypsies into the storyline was very clever.

Inspector Harry hole and Beata from forensics are tracking down to parallel crimes. One the murder of Paris, ex-girlfriend Anna and the other bank robbery and murder of a bank during the hold up.
There were not too many characters that I couldn’t follow, which sometimes happens in his books.

After reading this book, I went home and played Chubby Checker to my grandma. Then I witnessed another twist I didn't need to see.

A bank robbery that ends with a death, gypsies, Russian courts, tennis courts. Harry Hole drunk again? A dead artist. Handwriting and suicide notes.
