Pike and his crew are always a reading treat, but Taylor's weaving of three plots together made this an especially enjoyable read. From Russians, to Afghans, the CIA and the President all taking roles, I couldn't turn the page fast enough. Big thanks to Taylor.

The best of the Pike Logan books feature ripped-from-the-headlines threats, memorable adversaries, and personal stakes for Pike, Jennifer, and their team. The Devil's Ransom has all three, making it one of the better entries in the series. the team is sent to extract an Afghan agent after the fall of Kabul, but the extraction is only the first layer of a multi-faceted story. The team crosses paths with an elite Taliban team, and also has to deal with a ransomware attack that threatens to expose the Taskforce. A thrilling, jam-packed adventure.
This was one of the better books in the entire series. The real world parts of our withdrawal from Afghanistan, ransomware, and private space exploration made for a great story.
Good action novel where Pike Logan and Jennifer and team take on two back to back missions that involve rescuing an Afghanistan diplomat and his niece and then finding a ransom ware hacking group that had infiltrated his groups systems and that of a private aerospace company.
Sometimes I have to say reading these books feels a bit to real to me. Typically Pike and crew action adventure. Just what I like

Decent writing but I’ve read too many of these - coming repetitious….
