Overall the book was enjoyable, but there was just such a lack of chemistry between Maya and Noah and the characters where pretty flat.

For me personally the pacing was really weird and sometimes the timeskips where hard to follow and i had no idea what was happening. It also felt really slow, but in a way where i just thought it was very dragging.

There was also misogyny that i found uncomfortable to read and some scenes that made me cringe / uncomfortable (mainly the ass slapping scenes, they was just not necessary)

And overall i would have loved to see more spanish rep. Because even though maya and santi are spanish we don’t see much of it and it wished we could have seen more spanish culture.

Still, it was an enjoyable romance book with some good spice.

Wished the chase had been slightly longer. Cringy sometimes but enjoyable enough for a reread clearly.

Rating this book 4 stars wasn’t part of my plan, but the lord -and everyone that reads my reviews- know that i’m a sucker for a sappy romance story with good characters. Noah and Maya feel very real from how they express themselves to their reactions. I must say, the secondary characters felt a bit meh which is disappointing considering that there’s other books for said characters. Overall, a nice ride (see what i did there *wink wink*). I’m a huge F1 fan so it’s a cool book, different to your usual romance stories.

“The glint in his eye and the smile on his face promise more. That’s a problem for future me.” 🏎🏎🏎

Maya has just graduated and is not sure what direction to go in next. Her brother, Santi, is an Formula 1 racer and he decides to take her along. There she meets Noah Slade — F1 hottie with a fúćkäble body & a smile that makes girls weak at the knees. Maya cannot stand Noah, so she does everything to avoid him…. 😏😏😏

Maya & Noah are adorbs🥰 The banter and tension was good! Racing is not something I really know, so it was fun to get a peek into that world through this book. Noah’s character growth was fantastic — I freaking LOVED how self aware he was. 🙂 The spice 🔥😮‍💨 Overall I wasn’t as obsessed with this book as I thought I would be, but I will still check the rest of the books out!
