Hot Six is a little too Ranger-heavy for my liking. Ranger isn't even in it that much, but the whole book centers around Stephanie trying to find him as he's FTA. He gets himself wrapped up in some vaguely defined turf war between the gun-dealing and the drug-dealing mafiosos of Jersey. Stephanie is stalked by a rival group's flunkies, who threaten to cut her nipples off. She spends a lot of time thinking about how mysterious Ranger is. Joyce Barnhardt stalks around looking slutty. Stephanie has to deal with one crazy, naked, arsonist/rapist FTA and another at a Star Trek party. And in one memorable scene, she and Lula steal a woman's dog's poop from her in the park, prompting the woman to yell, "Help! They're taking my poop! Stop! Thief!" Overall, a lot happened, but not much memorable.

Boring book. The previous two were pretty good, so they can’t all be winners. Or I’m just not that invested in ranger? This book just dragged on and on.

This one kept my attention the whole time. The plot was slightly different than the others (there were fewer FTAs and more organized crime in this one).
