Another winner in the Stephanie Plum series. Audiobook narrated by C.J. Critt is the best. I crack up just about every time Grandma Mazur or Lula have dialog. A fun read.

It's clear the author knows nothing about weed. And if there are any cops reading this, neither do I

Once again I found myself laughing out loud with this Plum book. My favorite part is when grandma finds Ranger on top of Stephanie in the middle of the night.

I don't read these books for the plot, at this point. The ploy is filler while I find out what happens in the relationships. It's like a soap opera with guns.
The plot is fairly predictable and formula by now: Stephanie gets involved in something bigger than simply pulling in a bounty. People follow her around. Other people try to kill her. In the end, through blind luck, she stumbles across the bad guy and things work out okay. Meanwhile, she eats too much, wants to have sex, and has zany adventures thanks to her weird friends.
And yet, I keep coming back for more, so it's not a complaint. The familiar can be comforting, especially when it also makes me laugh.
Despite the huge relationship bomb dropped in the end of this book, I don't see much progress with the main love interest, though I am curious where it's going from here.

One of the funnier books in the series so far, but a less intriguing mystery.
