The prose is more accessible than I expected and there are recurring symbols, but I lost track of the timeframe (past vs. present) and (un)conscious state. So, I would need to discuss this classic with someone in order to appreciate it more.

the repetition in this book is so so good because it really did make me feel like I was going insane

awesome writing, but was too tough to fully finish despite being short. Would have adored it in high school
