Good plot twist!

I liked the plot twist and suspense. However I didn't like the long drawn out descriptions to set the scenes. While I know the purpose was to show how new mothers cope with various types of feelings and that post partum is indeed a serious issue, it was too much and this made me stay longer than I would reading this book. The narrator voice didn't help omg!!!!!

I really really didn’t like this book. I love crime novels, but this was not it. I couldn’t even finish it. I was mentally checking out and wanting to skip pages about 20 pages in. I didn’t like any of the characters. The mc and her pov was mostly just her complaining at all times. it was exhausting. it just repeated alot of things over and over again. the character wasn’t really built.

With lot's of mommy drama and a feminist undertone, this was a really entertaining read! It did feel a bit predictable and I'm not sure that all the events that went down were very realistic, but I had a fun time reading this one.

This novel is off and running from the first sentence. I found it to be very intriguing the way the author uses flashbacks and letters to tell the story as it's happening but without revealing the ending.

More than one twist and turn.

Hooked from the beginning. As the story progressed there were many hints but I never guessed the ending. Easy reading and fun, relatable characters. For the heaviness of the subject, a surprisingly light read.

I just couldn't get into this book.
About 70 pages in and all the main character has done is complain about being tired, about her baby crying, about her mom dying...
