This entire book was like living in the mind of a middle schooler who has not come to terms with reality or how the world works at all. What in the hell was that?

Ashton and Sadie. The angst and pining was excellent. The spice was great. But the plot moved either to small or too fast at times.

I wanted something short and hot and this book delivered.

I love the whole concept of Mentor-Mentee in the matters of sex, no matter how predictable they can be. Fuck this, I know what I love and I don't mind one bit if I read several books with similar plot points.

I. WILL. SWALLOW. IT. WHOLE. ALL. EVERY. DAMN. TIME.

Okay, that was smooth.

AUDIO REVIEW

Listened to this one because it was part of my audible subscription. It was fine. Mostly spicy which I expected and the characters were interesting. I felt the story itself was quite simple but I did like that this was a friends to lovers.

This was a fun story, no cheating and quickly resolved conflict with real resolution.

i’m sorry this was just. not good. ashton was so manipulative and controlling, he had zero redeeming qualities for me. and just about every smut scene read as literal assault. sadie was either not in the mood for it, there was little to no communication, or it was just way too intense for her level of experience, and ashton was horrible at taking no for answer, if he even gave her the opportunity to answer.
