This book was hands down my FAVORITE book I’ve read this year. I wish I could read it all over again already! I loved Lucy, I love that this was a thriller that also made me laugh all throughout it!

I appreciated this book for its fresh take on the whodunnit. I was a little worried that the podcast angle would be cheesy or forced, but the use of that medium is tasteful throughout. I was on the edge of my seat until the end, and I believe the story wrapped up quite nicely and had “something to say” about gender, believability, trauma, and other themes that really worked for me. Only real con was that Lucy’s internal monologue was a bit repetitive and snarky for me.

Good story, good pace. Some sexual content. I would like a bit more character development earlier on.

Really loved this book and not a genre I normally go for. Audiobook was so good and I was literally gasping at the reveals. The end confused me for a second but I think it’s just meant to be like a lil cheeky. Really good and funny

This book got my attention IMMEDIATELY! I loved the mixed media with the podcast transcripts because it made me see how the whole town saw the murder and eventually gave way to more suspects and drama. This whole story of everyone thinking Lucy killed Savvy even her own parents was well crafted and it made me want to know what happened that night so much more. Once I got halfway through this book I started flying through it because I wanted to know who murdered Savvy. Amazing!
