Lo ameeee, un hombre que derrumbaría el mundo por ti… I’m here for it pero me hubiera encantado ver más el desarrollo de su relación

Dark and twisted

Dark. Delicious. Disturbing.

Adam is a Soldier who deals out sick twisted games for people who deserve it.

Olivia is a fixer for her group of friends who doesn't seek acknowledgment. She does it all behind scenes.

Adam and Olivia are perfect for each other. Her standoffish vibes and acting like Adam doesn't intrigue her. Adam silently stalking her and sending her text messages letting her know he is there. The games they play until something finally breaks.

Loved it!

I tried to get into this and got about 50% of the way through and still nothing! I see a lot of positive reviews, but this book just did not live up to the hype when I am that far in! Nikki did a great job of writing, but I just could not find myself loving it and had to shelf it as DNF. :/

"I'd tell him that all the feelings he thought he felt were in his head. I was just an illusion to him, a dream he thought he wanted to make a reality."

I am surprised how The Psycho didn't hit my high anticipation for the read.
By the synopsis, the cover and seeming it was stated as a dark romance; it was pretty light.
Don't get me wrong, it was still a smutty spicy, intense book, but because I have read very dark plotlines/themes before, this was light to me.

Even though I was a bit disappointed what I anticipated was not what I had gotten, I still enjoyed the read.
The plotline and writing were easy and went on smoothly.
I get addicted to the read.
While in the beginning, the Soldiers of Anarchy were introduced, later on, the focus wasn't really on it throughout the plotline.
In the whole book, the focus was more on the romance than the thrill and suspense of the Soldiers of Anarchy.

Yet again, I was disappointed I didn't get the plotline I hoped we would get into.
It does give a reader false hope; in the beginning, the setting of Soldiers of Anarchy was prominent, but it felt like it got forgotten and only was put into the plotline like it was a side dish.

What I thoroughly enjoyed was the romance.
The romance was hitting every spot.
I love that the MMC was the one who fell first and fell so much harder.
Their storyline, especially Adam's on his history, childhood, and emotions, was such a tearful storytelling.

The plotline consistency was such a wave; sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.
I wish there were a balance of the thriller surrounding the Soldiers of Anarchy, more of the town's development and the friend group, maybe detailing Olivia's story and relationship with her family more in-depth. While it was a good romance, there were a lot of holes in the story that could have helped strengthen everything together.

"I saw her, sitting in what was becoming a crowded park for this time in the morning, with dog walkers, joggers and older couples taking a stroll, but she was all alone. She looked lonely, and it made my heart hurt."

My stalker trope obsession started in 2021 and I'm not mad about it. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it!

Adam is a sexy, obsessive, ruthless stalker who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Liv was not my favorite and a bit annoying, but I was able to push through for the story and Adam. Entertaining read and I'd overall recommend!

You think I’d be tired of the staIker trope, but nope. I’m back again with another one, and it was a doozy! I got this in the StaIker Trope Box from The Last Chapter Book Shop! I had my husband pick one from the stack, and this was the one he picked.

Adam fell for Olivia instantly and oh the slow burn was everything. Now trust me, we got the spice we love but we had to work for it! I definitely couldn’t get enough of their banter!
