I don't understand. I LOVE this author for all of ther Plum Valley Cowboy series, but I can barely make it through a book in this series. It's not bad. I'm just bored.

This series always delivers with sweet and lovely contemporary stories. I really liked Malibu, and this one might be up there with it as another favorite of the elite 8 studios books

It may have been naive of me but I didn't read the tropes at the end of the blurb and was expecting a sweet, simple woke up married contemporary. THEN suddenly Teddy and Kip just decided to whip out the daddy/doll dynamic and smack me over the head with 5 star spice. The caretaking elements were on point and the entire dynamic felt so genuine and full of love. I absolutely adored every minute I spent reading it.

I'd say this is very low angst but it does an excellent job keeping the plot going. There are some little stressors but overall it's simply about Teddy and Kip and how they fall in love completely with each other. I thought it was great and am so glad I took the time to read it.

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Ahhh this hurts, but unfortunately this book was NOT a win for me.

I am not a giant fan of accidental marriage really, but Emmy Sanders has literally yet to let me down with this series (I started with book 2!)...Or really at all. I didn't read Dix (whoops) so I didn't really know who Kipp was, but I think it's fine on it's own as a standalone? Or least if you started it late in the series like I did, you wouldn't be lost.

I do, however, love me some Daddy Kink and while this was a bit light on the kink, it was PERFECT. I was absolutely feral for these two by the end of the book and was loving that they wanted to date while married

Love is unique. It's not the same for any two people. For me, love is you. It's the way you make me feel. It's the way I feel for you.

AND THAT’S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT.

Oh also, Kipp’s family can get bent.
