I will start by saying this was cute and Christmassy. It was also a quick and easy read.

However.

I cannot stand when men use “sweetheart” and that made Teddy give me the ick BIG TIME. I also despised him nicknaming the FMC “Poison Ivy”. It felt so corny and I legit rolled my eyes every time.

The spice was very cringey for me and I found myself skimming over every scene (but I’m not always a huge lover of spice in books anyways).

I also don’t like insta love, which this VERY MUCH was (met and engaged in a month? absolutely no way). I hate the pregnancy trope. This was also in no ways an enemies to lovers story so while the name is cute it doesn’t make any sense.

All in all a cute read and I didn’t hate my time reading it.

This was such a cute story with a unique premise but I wouldn’t necessarily call it an enemies to lovers story. Ivy got kind of annoying with all her “are we fighting?” stuff because at no point did they actually argue…Overall though it was a fun and festive read.

I’m between a 3.5 or 4⭐️ A cute, Christmas-y Hallmark-y story but with some spice!

perfect holiday romance

Okay so this was literally such the cutest and most perfect holiday romance! I’m pretty sure I devoured a good portion of this on my flight home from Cabo and trust me when I say I could not put it down. I mean Teddy is literally Santa’s son so how could I not love it. I am serious when I say I will be re-reading this when I put up my tree this weekend and can enjoy it with some hot chocolate and cookies.

this was a cute and whimsical romp thru the North Pole and all things Christmas! think magical sleigh rides, meeting the reindeer, touring the workshop, making a (naughty) list and checking it twice.

cute

Christmas books were never something I was super interested in, but this was quick and easy and cute.
The characters were likeable, but everything just seemed to move fast. Not bad just not my style of writing.
