And then she was gone, in a blur of green velvet and strawberry blonde, making me wonder if I'd ever noticed how beautiful a woman was before Ivy Winters. I didn't think I ever had.

It was very cute & spicy hallmark like. Ivy meets Teddy while working at Christmas theme park and he decides to kidnap her (not dark) to the North Pole to meet Santa, his dad. This had a medium burn in the spice area, but once it started it didn't stop. I wouldn't call this enemies to lovers or close to it. They did have quite a bit of banter, but she only disliked him for about a chapter.

Christmas Book #18
Rating: 4/5
Tropes: Santa's Son x Half-Elf, Fated Mates, Only One Bed
Spice: 4/5 (7 scenes)
Romance: Fated Mates
Christmas Themes: Christmas Time, At the North Pole, Santa
Plot: Yes, somewhat on Christmas List To-Dos
Pages: 254

Super cheesy. Over the top. But it’s Christmas at the North Pole so it’s acceptable. Spicy hallmark. Very cute Christmas magic. Quick and easy read.

I could do without the 150 mentions of how tiny she is and how big he is, and the pregnancy talk during smut scenes 🤮

Also it’s not at alllll enemies to lovers. They kept saying “you hated me” but it was quite literally insta love when they met.I

This story was adorable and if this is what hallmark movies are like (minus the spice) then I need to start watching them more.

Teddy comes to the family's christmas theme park and meets Ivy. The strawberry pink haired girl who loves christmas more than anyone! Teddy invites her home for spend christmas with him & his family and she gets more than she bargined for, what do you mean Santa is real and shes an elf?!

I loved how Teddy made sure he made Ivy's christmas was so special and the christmas activites was cute. The connection between them was undeniable and their banter had me giggling. Of course there was some spice, how they didn't melt the north pole who knows?

I recommend this book to anyone who loves chrismtas movies!
