the cozy spicy Hallmark story we always wanted!
Anyone who knows me knows Jennifer Chipman's books are my fave. Her Witches of Pleasant Grove series is my favorite for spooky season and now I have a favorite Christmas romance. This one was the cozy spicy Hallmark story l've always wanted!! The Christmas bucket list was so cute and the holiday vibes were unmatched. I'll be honest y'all, the holidays usually stress me out, but this book was just what I needed and was so perfect for getting me into the holiday season! I even already put my tree up and that is unheard of for me!

This was everything I had been expecting when I picked it up. Sweet and spicy, with a dash of Christmas magic. It's the perfect fluffy holiday read.
Ivy and Teddy are freaking adorable. From the moment they meet, to the shared gingerbread muffins, to their trip to the North Pole and every adorable item they check off their Christmas list, you just can't help but adore them. And I actually really loved the side characters; they didn't have a great deal of time on page, but what little time we had with the Clauses and Ivy's estranged family were really sweet.
I'm kinda sad that Scarlett already has her mate, so we won't get her book. I love a good, interconnected standalone... but maybe there's hope for Sarah 🤞 I'd love to go back to the North Pole next Christmas

I liked it, but thought the "enemies" side plot wasn't there like the characters kept commenting on. They were never actually enemies.

a PERFECT holiday romance!!! it was sweet & swoony and truly made me feel allll the xmas magic.
i think the audio of this book would be AMAZING because the world of the north pole would truly come to life but i really truly enjoy this this one!!!

Ця історія ідеально підійшла під атмосферу, яку я хотіла. Сніг, сімейне свято, магія та кохання.
Мені сподобалися головні персонажі. Їхні відносини починаються на гострому лезі ненависті, але з часом розкриваються так глибоко і правдиво, що просто неможливо залишитися байдужим. Їхні сварки — це вибух емоцій, але за ними ховається справжнє тяжіння, яке поступово трансформується у щось більше. Хімія між героями відчувається в кожному діалозі.
Особливо чарівною була різдвяна атмосфера: сніг, вогники та сцени, де герої вимушені працювати разом під час святкових заходів, додали історії тепла та трохи гумору. Це той момент, коли магія свята переплітається з магією світу ельфів, створюючи відчуття справжнього дива.
Сюжет місцями був передбачуваний, але авторка майстерно компенсує це несподіваними поворотами, які тримають у напрузі. Емоційні моменти справді зачіпають за живе, хоча мені хотілося трохи більше занурення у внутрішній світ ельфів.

This was a super cute holiday read. This really got me in the Christmas spirit. I really liked the premise of the story. I liked that Ivy was able to find out more about herself and her family. I loved how all-in Teddy was when it came to Ivy. And their Christmas bucket list was so cute. Highly recommend this book!
