First let’s take a minute to appreciate the cuteness of this cover, sighhhhhh😍😍😍😍😍

Alright, calling all my fellow Holiday Hallmark lovers, have you been naughty or have you been nice?

This was a steamy, hallmark esq., holiday romance with dabs of The Santa Clause and Elf vibes interwoven within the storyline. It’s a tale told in dual pov between Santa’s son, Teddy and a Christmas loving elf named Ivy. I enjoyed these characters and Ivy’s back story. It definitely pulls on the heartstrings a little bit. Ivy and Teddy had such great chemistry. I luved watching these two fall in love and complete the Christmas bucket list. I wanted to follow along with them! This story includes seasonal excursions, a sexy sleigh ride, and a reindeer named Buddy. How could one not luv this?? I did not want this one to end. 🎄

Well, wasn’t this just a holly jolly time!

This was the very first Christmas book of the season for me and what a way to begin! I loved this novella so much and I can’t wait to read more from Jennifer Chipman.

The story follows Ivy, a girl working as the head elf at Santa’s Christmasland. She worked there to put herself through college, but ended up working there after as well. She knows that there has to be something more to life than being a head elf.

Enter Teddy, a hotshot executive who is in town to visit the corporation his family has put so much time into making what it is. Teddy has worked his way up the chain and is going to be taking his fathers place as the “CEO” eventually. The two meet and immediately butt heads, but that anger soon turns into something different but just as fiery.

One of my favorite aspects of the book was the checklist Teddy and Ivy try to complete before Christmas. Although this was on the longer side of novellas, I felt like the checklist added a certain umph to the plot that directed it in the right way.

The only thing I wish was played on more was the angst. While I know this is a novella, they are together at the midways point. I felt like once they were together, the pining and angst was nowhere to be found. I didn’t feel that pull between Teddy and Ivy after they were officially together and that’s why I took a star away. I just needed more of a pull between the two characters.

I am super pumped to read what’s next for the author!

Thank you to the author for a free review copy in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Things to Know
 - Forced proximity
 - Found family
 - Spice

This is obviously a holiday romance and there are a few more tropes I could add, but I think it’s more fun going in without knowing them, as they are a good surprise to the story. To me this was not a true enemies to lovers as there arguing is really more so banter mixed in with a little sexual tension. It is also somewhat a workplace romance as they work together for a short period of time. Again, I don’t want to go too into the story as there are some fun details I think you should learn throughout their story. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of spice the story had, Teddy had a bit of a mouth in him.

I would recommend if you’re looking for an easy read of a cute holiday story with a spin to it!

Ivy and Teddy's story is so cute! Ivy works at a theme park that is Christmas based and is the head manager of the photo department which is called head elf. She has a friend Sarah but no family. She lost her parents really young so she is intrigued by Christmas since never really had much of one and living in Florida definitely no white Christmas.

Teddy is an executive of the place but doesn't like to announce who he is to everyone. When he sees Ivy dealing with a customer, he's immediately drawn to her.  Teddy is also keeping some secrets about who he is name wise and where he lives too.

Ivy and Teddy do not hit it off right away and may say Ivy doesn't care for him but after few more encounters her feelings change even if doesn't want to admit it. When he asks her to come to his home for Christmas where he promises it snows, Ivy is unsure at first. So many secrets will be revealed and some spicy scenes too! Read this book to find out what happens

This was absolutely SO CUTE! Jennifer captured all the holiday magic in this and wrapped it up with a bow on top!

Ivy and Teddy were perfect for each other! The way Teddy was so gone for Ivy.. all he wanted was to make sure she had the best Christmas of her life *swoon*

This book was cute and fluffy. This is the second book I've read from this author, I kind of like that there is no third act breakup.

The characters were cute, and just what I needed from a Holiday read.

I appreciate the opportunity to read an advanced reader copy sent by the author and Wordsmith Publicity.
