This wasn't my favourite mafia romance. I don't really enjoy enemies to lovers for one and I especially didn't like that fact that Anni was so young. I also didn't like the obsession with her being a virgin. I felt like her relationship with Lorenzo didn't really flow right and it felt strange with how quickly he retracted his accusations when it came to the leak. I think Anni also behaved to recklessly at times and I didn't enjoy how she was suddenly totally submissive in bed and wanted to learn so she could please him.
I did enjoy seeing the kids though and I thought Anni's family were pretty funny.

To be honest, I got Goosebumps from the second chapter (That's exactly when Hero and Heroine meet). Each and every line in this book was so amazing that it won't fail to give you butterflies in your tummy.
Lorenzo Marchiano - The male character is pretty Grumpy and is in a hunt for a woman who can be his wife and daughter. He is the most perfect under boss who is extremely clever and always has an upper hand on the events around him.
Annunciata - The Female Character is for sure a Hellcat like how Lorenzo called her at their first meet. She is truly a savage. I adored how skillful she was at observing the profit and loss account. As a sucker for Accounting concepts I lost my heart to her the moment she helped Lorenzo in a financial issue he was dealing with. Every initiative she took to take care of Clara and Clement was so beautiful to see.
Tropes:-
Mafia Romance
Suspense Romance
Grumpy and Sunshine
Single Dad
Enemies to Lovers
The mystery in the book has gotten me hooked up and definitely I don't remember taking a break while reading this book. The enemy is somewhere within our dear circles and made me feel connected to the story.
When most of the books Epilogue speaks of the Happily Ever After alone this book made sure to reveal all the answers for the suspense created in the Epilogue. So from the start till the end the Author made sure I read it.
Thank you so much for sending me the ARC of this book @booksirens and @isa.oliver.author
