I just recapped the entire plot of this novel to my partner and he said, “so that’s an example of dark academia right?” And I did a whole-ass spit take.

This was boring until it wasn't but, even then, I found the whole book pretty tedious. There was some intrigue for me at the start but it quickly fizzled out. Some nice writing though but not enough to make me love/like this book.
