Un pò ripetitivo in alcuni punti, ma la storia è piena di poesia e dolcezza.

Serie di 8 volumi. Conclusa.

This one was way to cringy for my tastes with it's over-the-top sexualization, infantilazation, and consent issues. Won't be reading more from this series.

herp derp I was one of those kids in the manga aisles of barnes and noble, reading these thangs. This is manga canon. Read it if you haven't already. Classic story appeals to everyone, clamp art is beautiful, be happy you aren't a robot. And now whenever I think of poor Japanese students, I think of Hideki.

I love Clamp manga, my favorite being xxxHolic but just about any of their stuff is interesting, interesting enough to allow many re-reads and this is my 3rd or 4th time reading this series.

Rereading this from childhood, I feel as though this was my first introduction to any kind of implied sexual content. I remember feeling like I needed to hide this (which was hard when I had the collective edition in a massive singular book) when my parents walked in the room, but didn’t understand why. Everyone wanted to fuck their robot companions and sexualize their innocence, sooooooo yeah. Not as exciting as I recall, but this is only the first volume so it probably got better with the continuing story; bummed I don’t have that collection copy anymore.
