I laughed my way through this book and I highly recommend it. I’m not normally a big romcom person but this was truly hilarious between both protagonists' wit and the zaniness of the small town most of it takes place in. There’s also a fun mystery worked in, a few people you’ll love to hate and both sweet and steamy romance.
Really well-rounded read that manages to pack in all the makings of the perfect escape. It’s a bigger book but I read it in three sittings and still have missed it since finishing it. It reads fast with lots of excitement will make you want to move to Bitter End.
Strongly recommend.
4.5 stars.

“Nobody else has been able to take my crap and throw it right back in my face—and occasionally make me smile while doing it.”
This was a wonderful, laugh-out-loud read. It had a little hate-to-love and a whole lot of the fake relationship trope which I’m absolutely crazy for! It was a sweet romance with a whole lot of witty banter and some crazy characters.
“Did he sear the doctors with that haughty look when he slid out of the womb?
Who am I kidding?
That would imply he was born, when everyone who’s had the misfortune to meet him knows he was hatched.”
Chase Lancaster is the boss from hell. He’s coldhearted and unbearable. Daisy Abernathy is his personal assistant and she doesn’t put up with his crap. Whenever she has the chance she gives Mr. Lancaster a piece of her mind and feels good doing it.
Daisy and Chase had great chemistry and I absolutely loved their witty banter. They were well rounded characters and they complemented each other very well, even when they were at each other’s throats. The undeniable attraction they had for eachother was so palpable and adorable. I especially enjoyed Chase’s thoughts about Daisy.
“I admit I’ve got a mild schoolboy crush on her. [...] My feelings for her are the reason I’ve never asked her out. I don’t know what effect it would have on me, and I loathe unpredictability and loss of control.”
The setting of the story was great. Everything takes place back at Daisy’s small home-town, Bitter End. It was wonderful to see how the town received Chase and how easy it was for him to fit in with everyone there.
The supporting characters in this book had me laughing out loud so many times! Daisy’s grandma was a hoot! I certainly would never want to get on her bad side. Kenzi Reed made sure that every single character written into this story brought life to not only the story, but also the town of Bitter End. They seriously made me want to hop on a plane and go visit!
Full of wit, banter, swoon-worthy moments, lots of laughs, and some hysterical and crazy characters, A Billion Times No is a romcom you don’t want to miss out on!

This book sucked. I know you could tell by the cover that it seems hallmark movie esc. But gosh this book was like the worst kind of fever dream of convenience and stupidity and annoyance. Gosh I didn’t like it one bit.

This was book #9 for Romanceopoly 2020.
Square: The Office (Around Town)
Challenge Pack: Moon
Challenge: Read a romance where a couple meet at their place of work.
This one was on my TBR list on Amazon for a while - I kept getting ads about it on Facebook and Instagram (I am a sucker and look at so many of those, but that's neither here nor there), but never got around to just putting it in my KU library, that is until I decided that it was going to be a book I read during Romanceopoly. As this is a boss/assistant situation - and most of it takes place out of the office, this was probably a tenuous link at best, but I really wanted to read it.

I laughed several times at the antics of these crazy characters. It is a book filled with Southern charm, humor, sarcasm, and a lesson on the importance of finding the meaning of home.

Loved it!! This was the cutest enemies to lovers, big city turned small town, romance between billionaire boss and his assistant. It was all of my hallmark favorites in one book! Such a cute storyline. I love getting to know all the members of the small town, reminded me alot of my hometown. I highly recommend! I hope she writes a story on Savannah in New York next!

Entertaining and predictable AF.
A Billion Times No was most definitely a enemies to lovers romance. It didn't hurt that it also had a dash of forbidden office romance as well but they didn't really start or do anything while at work. So I guess it doesn't really count? Eh - still loved the crap out of Chase and Daisy.
Besides the romance, their bantering was hilarious. I enjoyed each page and argument between these two. They were like fire and ice but when they met, sparks ignited and everything made sense in the world. Of course, this book also had some mystery in it as well. It was.. uh interesting if I do say so myself.
Long story short, Chase's dad is a huge douche canoe and deserves everything that is coming towards him.
Overall, really enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of this series!

What did I just read? The h's town is literally stuck in the 50s and she lets everyone walk all over her. The banter between the h and H was good, but the relationship building was ehh. It took a while to get there, but the villain plot was actually good. The ending however was ridiculous. Honestly just ended up feeling sorry for the h. Her family doesn't trust her, the town doesn't respect her, and H didn't even propose in the right spot.

The story started out really good with really good chemistry between the leads - both are really likable.
It does get a bit far-fetched towards the end which dropped the rating for me.
